This is the week most people start planning out the holiday season. We would like to remind everyone of how important it is to include seniors in our festivities. While this season is reserved by many to get together with family members we haven’t seen in a while, a lot of times seniors are left out. This can lead to a lot of sadness for them and can leave them feeling alone. Life gets really busy and some family members may be far away, but please if you can, reach out to them. We are sure it would mean a lot more than you think.
Every year around this time Hope Home Care starts donating food and clothing to local shelters and to anyone that needs it. It’s getting colder outside and it can get brutal, especially for the elderly who are more likely to get sick. If you know anyone that needs a little help this season, let us know and we’ll do our best to help out. You can send a message to vsingh@hopehc.org or call/text 703-828-5816. If you have anything you’d like to donate, you can stop by our main office at 4041 University Dr. Fairfax VA, 22030.
We wish you a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!
